Adventure Begins at Texas Creek!

Texas Creek Junction is a hub for outdoor adventure.  Whether it’s river rafting, ATVing, hiking, climbing, hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, or camping, Texas Creek is the place to be!

Located in the rugged Colorado Rocky Mountains, Texas Creek is within a 30 minute drive of 3 cities; Canon City, Westcliffe, and Salida.  Numerous private as well as public campgrounds provide lodging within a 2-10 mile radius.

When you visit, be sure to enjoy a meal at Barry’s Den.  They provide delicious country style meals and are a local favorite.  Motorists often make a point of stopping to eat at Barry’s Den along their scenic drive up Hwy 50.  And nothing beats a home-style meal after an adventure packed day.

Colorado ATV will provide everything you need, including a guide, to help you explore the 100+ miles of off-road trails to the north of Texas Creek.  1-6 hour tours may be scheduled year round.

Vessels For Honor Rafting Co. is ready to provide good, wholesome, family fun and adventure!  Opening Memorial day weekend, trips run Monday – Saturday up through the 2nd Saturday in August.  Trips include ½ day, full day and overnight excursions on the Arkansas River through Bighorn Sheep Canyon and the Royal Gorge.
